Bookings: 

All bookings must be paid in advance of the start date. If you wish to join a class less than 24 hours before it starts I will do my best to fit you in subject to availability, please contact me via email naomidressmaker@hotmail.com to check availability, your place cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received. All fees stated on our website are inclusive of VAT. 

Payments: 

Please note: We do not store or share any debit or credit card details or personal info with any 3rd party vendors. 

I prefer you to make a booking using the online booking system which takes payments securely via PayPal. Please note that all bookings will be pending until funds have cleared. We accept the following payments: 

• PayPal – Via the online booking system. You can also pay with a credit or debit card using PayPal’s secure payment system without having to open a PayPal account. 

• Cash payments or credit and debit cards - Visa, Maestro and Mastercard. In person at the studio. I would require your payment to be received at least 7 days before your class/workshop is due. Your space will be booked only upon receiving your full payment. 

Bank transfers – Should you decide to send a bank transfer, please contact naomidressmaker@hotmail.com and I will provide you with bank details. I would require your payment to be received at least 7 days before your class/workshop is due. 

Refund Policy 

Changes or cancellations by you: 

Group lessons 

If you find yourself unable to attend your class and you inform us more than 10 days in advance, we can offer a refund minus 50% of your course fee for administration. Alternatively, you can keep the payment as a credit to book against another class or you can transfer to a future workshop free of charge. If cancellation is made within 10 days of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund or move you to another class. However, you can always send a friend to take your place – just let me know of the name change. 

Private lessons 

All private lessons can be rescheduled if cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to your class. If you cancel within 24 hours from your scheduled lesson, no changes or rescheduling will be offered. Please contact me at naomidressmaker@hotmail.com to inform of any changes you may wish to make 

Non-attendance 

Non-attendance of classes due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds, extra tuition or a transfer. However, in such an event I will consider all the circumstances and take such action that I consider to be fair and reasonable. 

Running late 

If you are running late for your lesson, please inform me by phone before your lesson is due to begin. If you are more than 30 min late for your lesson, we reserve the right to cancel your attendance.  

The studio doors will open for your class, 15 minutes prior to your lesson, so please don’t arrive too early as you may interrupt another class. 

Minimum class numbers  

I require a minimum of 3 students to be booked for any class in order to proceed with this class/workshop. I may choose to run a class with less than 3 bookings, but reserve the right to reschedule undersubscribed classes. 

Cancellations by me 

In the unlikely event when a class/workshop must be cancelled or postponed due to unavoidable circumstances or if a class is undersubscribed, I will give you a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. You will be offered an alternative date or credit for the same amount of money or refunds your payment. I will not be liable for any other costs, wasted travel or expenses that you may incur. 

Class postponement 

If a class is postponed for reasons which I am responsible, including tutor illness or shop closure due to other reasons out of my control, I will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class. 

Requirements for participating in our classes, courses & workshops 

Student conduct 

Naomi Dressmaker requires students to conduct themselves in a reasonable and proper manner at all times. Substantial obstruction of, or substantial improper interference with, the functions, duties or activities of any student or member of staff will result in the student being asked to leave the class. I will not tolerate any violent, indecent, disorderly, threatening, intimidating or offensive behaviour or language towards staff or other students. Any such action will result in the student being asked to leave the class. and I reserve the right to cancel attendance of further classes in extreme cases. 

Student health & safety 

Students are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to practical classes and use sharp tools in a safe and careful manner. Students who fail to comply with health and safety rules will be unable to participate in practical classes.
